Why Help?
Change the lives of about 10,000*
lower-income families
These families face interwoven challenges – from access to quality education and healthcare to securing stable employment.
For instance, enduring long hours as a delivery rider may wear down health and strain family bonds, creating ongoing challenges that make it harder to improve their circumstances.
By supporting the programmes under the Collective for a Stronger Society, you can help families create new pathways to opportunities and build a stronger future.
Every donation made in 2025 will be matched by the SG Gives Matching Grant, amplifying the impact of your support*.
Through comprehensive programmes offering wraparound assistance, we can tackle these interconnected challenges and create lasting, meaningful change.
Lower-income families may face these challenges
Early Education
Children who skip preschool miss out on vital early literacy skills during crucial developmental milestones, which can affect self-confidence.
Housing
Owning a home remains out of reach for many lower-income families, which can lead to a sense of instability and insecurity.
Health & Well-being
Families juggling long work hours and tight budgets often struggle to prioritise nutrition, rest, and healthcare – all of which may take a toll on their well-being.
Social
Lower-income families may find it harder to navigate life’s uncertainties, access essential resources, and achieve long-term stability due to limited social support and networks.
Employment
Lower-income families may face unstable or fluctuating income. Some may hold multiple jobs or lack access to regular employment.
